Explanation by Kismet’s team of the rating assignment process and its different stages.
- First request for information
Questionnaire sent by Kismet to be completed by VASP, aiming to obtain the specific characteristics of the organization and to adapt the survey to the specific context.
- Formal kick-off
Kick-off meeting of the rating process with definition of specific steps and respective timetable.
- Kismet survey
Survey sent by Kismet to be answered by the VASP.
- Exploratory bilateral
Meeting for joint discussion of survey responses.
- Evidences sent by the VASP to Kismet
Submission of evidence by VASP to Kismet to support survey responses.
- First analysis risk quantification
Quantification of inherent and residual risk, by Kismet, according to the respective risk assessment methodology.
- Second exploratory bilateral
Meeting for joint discussion of the risk assessment.
- Rating report
Elaboration of the rating report by Kismet.
- Third exploratory bilateral
Meeting for joint discussion of the draft version of the report.
- Rating results
Delivery of the final report and rating result.
This is a process that typically takes about six to 12 months, and in some cases, this period may exceed this period due to the size of certain VASP.
